Game Commission to meet May 16

HOBBS – The New Mexico State Game Commission will hold a meeting at 9 a.m., Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Lea County Event Center, 5101 N. Lovington Hwy., Hobbs, New Mexico 88240. The full agenda, location details, attendee information and general information will be available on the Department of Game and Fish website 

If you are interested in participating or providing comments, but cannot attend the meeting in person, you are encouraged to pre-register to attend the meeting on the Zoom Webinar platform. For those who wish only to view the meeting, there will also be a live webcast on the Department’s website.

How to Participate In the Latest Meeting

New Mexico State Game Commission Meeting
9:00 a.m. Mountain Time – Thursday, May 16, 2024 – Hybrid Meeting

Option 1: Attend In Person:

*The commission may hear verbal public comments from in-person attendees at this meeting. 

Option 2: Attend Virtually:

Register in advance to attend this meeting virtually via Zoom (Registration Link Coming Soon): After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. *The commission may hear verbal public comments from virtual attendees at this meeting. If comments are taken, you will be asked to virtually raise your hand and then acknowledged to speak when it is your turn.

Option 3: Watch the Meeting Live:

A live webcast of this meeting will be available on the commission’s Webcast page and on our YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/NMGameandFish. Comments will not be taken on the live webcast or on YouTube.

Agenda Items and Briefs for the Latest Meeting


*Comments may be allowed on each agenda item at the New Mexico State Game Commission chair’s discretion. Those who desire to address the commission and who claim to represent an organization must provide the following information: the number of members in the organization, frequency of the organization’s meeting and either a signed statement from that organization’s president that states the organization has discussed the topic and approved the position that the representative is presenting, or proof that they are a registered lobbyist for the organization. No props or costumes will be permitted.
