Interstate 10 eastbound closed at the US 191 northbound junction

PHOENIX – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 are closed at the US 191 northbound junction.

The closure is due to a crash in New Mexico near the Arizona-New Mexico state line.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route. 

There is no estimated time to reopen the eastbound lanes. The westbound lanes are unaffected.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan ahead and expect to use detours as northbound State Route 143 will close between I-10 and Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) from 7 p.m. Saturday, March 1, to 4 a.m. Monday, March 3, for a traffic shift.

Southbound I-17 closed this weekend near SR 74

Last of ADOT’s weekend closures for pavement improvement project

A stretch of southbound Interstate 17 between State Route 74 and Loop 303 in north Phoenix will be closed this weekend, Feb. 28-March 3, as highway crews work to finish a much-needed pavement improvement project. Drivers should allow plenty of extra travel time.
