On 1st October 2020, Cumbria Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP) in partnership with the NSPCC will launch their 'It's Not OK' campaign via a virtual conference.
'It's Not OK' is a year long campaign to raise awareness of Child Exploitation in Cumbria, amongst professionals, the public, parents/carers and children and young people.
The conference will be opened by the Police and Crime Commissioner and following the campaign launch there will be presentations from a number of national key note speakers (including an opportunity for questions):
- The NSPCC on the links between harmful sexual behaviours and CSE;
- National County Lines Coordination Centre on child criminal exploitation;
- The UK Safer Internet Centre on online safety.
Once you have booked your place on the event you will be sent a calendar invite to join the conference via Microsoft Teams.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
