Event Location

WestFest will be held on the West Campus quad and surrounding buildings and green spaces. West Campus quad is the green space in front of Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center, Bevis Hall, Rightmire Hall, and Pressey Hall.

Parking

Parking in Carmack Lot 2 or 3 (A and B, respectively, on map below) will allow for easy access to the footpath (C on map below) leading directly to the West Campus Quad and the WestFest information Booth.

Have an OSU Campus Parc parking pass?

    • The easiest parking location for WestFest will be Carmack Lot 2 or 3, which can be found at 1059 Carmack Rd, Columbus, 43210.

Don’t have an OSU Campus Parc parking pass?

    • Thanks to the generous donation from the College of Arts and Sciences, a select number of parking spots will be free to visitors without OSU parking pass. Make your way to Carmack Lot 2 (1059 Carmack Rd, A on map below) and alert a parking attendant who will direct you to the free parking spots.
Engagement and Activities

There will be plenty of opportunities for engagement at WestFest!

WestFest Partners and Tours

    • Guests will have the opportunity to explore STEM-related activities at booths and behind-the-scenes tours of Ohio State research facilities. Please visit the WestFest Partners Page to see the current list of WestFest 2023 exhibiting partners and past partners.

Activity Passport

    • Guests will have a chance to receive a WestFest 2023 prize by filling out the activity passport. Passports will be handed out at the information booth, and guests will receive stamps for completing activities at booths or tables. Once the passport has been completed, you can turn your passport back in at the information booth and receive a prize. Prize examples include take-home activity kits and WestFest swag.

    • Enjoy WestFest and get your picture with Brutus from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
