2019 Hudson River Estuary Coordinator's Report

DEC Updates DECinfo Locator With Water-Related Data

Sample of where water withdrawal reports are on DECinfoLocatorDEC has announced that DECinfo Locator, the agency's interactive data application, now includes downloadable annual water withdrawal reports and functionality updates to improve user experience. The new Water Withdrawal Annual Reports layer brings the number of interactive layers to more than 65. Now the public has easy access to information about public water supply systems that have the ability to withdraw 100,000 gallons or more of water per day. This layer debuts with data collected since 2018; earlier reports will be added in subsequent updates. To access the mapping application and learn how to use it, visit the DECinfo Locator webpage.

Environmental Excellence AwardDEC is accepting applications for the 17th annual Environmental Excellence Awards program. The Environmental Excellence Awards recognize businesses, institutions, municipalities, and organizations for outstanding commitments to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and economic viability.

You must submit applications by Friday, April 17, 2020.
