EXPLANATION OF THE CALENDAR FOR THE DAY

Bills on the Calendar for the Day may be considered for final passage by the House on the days designated. Each bill has had two prior readings, has been acted upon by one or more standing committees, and has been printed. Bills are placed on the Calendar for the Day by the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration. Amendments may be offered to bills on the Calendar for the Day and each bill is given a Third Reading prior to its final passage. After the Committee designates the bills, the Chief Clerk's Office must publish the Calendar for the Day.
