It is a full-time role, secondments will be considered and it is a really exciting opportunity to help transform personalised care for cancer for patients in Greater Manchester.

The post holder will join the Workforce and Education team at Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance and support a dedicated Clinical Lead to drive forward MDT Reform across a number of Cancer Pathways. This project is one of the key activities in the GM COVID-recovery plan, and aims to support implementation of NHSE/I guidance ‘Streamlining Multidisciplinary Team Meetings’.
The project involves working closely with pathway boards to improve the effectiveness of cancer MDT’s across GM and EC, ensuring streamlined processes / standards of care pathways are developed and implemented to make the best use of clinical time and resource.
This is a really exciting opportunity to help shape the future of cancer MDTs for Greater Manchester and East Cheshire, and to essentially improve outcomes for people affected by cancer.
