Unemployment Insurance Fraud Reporting

Knowingly providing false information or failing to provide information in order to obtain benefits is considered fraud. Falsification of information is punishable by fines and/or imprisonment under KRS 341.990.

* Type of Claim

IDENTITY FRAUD: Report that you suspect someone has used your Social Security Number or personal identifiable information to file a UI claim in your name.

ANONYMOUS TIP: Report suspected unemployment benefit fraud and abuse (individuals receiving UI and not reporting earnings)

EMPLOYER: Report that you suspect an employee of receiving UI benefits after returning to work or has refused work.
