Watch the Webinar: History of the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribe

The Rensselaer Plateau Alliance began their 2021 Guest Speaker Series with a presentation on the History of the Stockbridge-Munsee, by Heather Bruegl, cultural affairs director for the Stockbridge Munsee Band of the Mohican Indians, a federally-recognized tribe with deep roots in the Hudson Valley region. The Tribe’s original territory spans the Hudson, Housatonic, and Delaware River valleys. The namesake of the Tribe is the Muhheaconneok, “the people of the waters that are never still.”  Watch the recorded webinar now.
