GRAND FORKS N.D. — With the winter season in full swing, hunters are hitting the woods along with snowmobilers and skiers.  We hope all hunters have a safe hunting season and wish everyone luck on their hunts this year.  We also hope that everyone stays safe on their snowmobiles and skies, or whatever outdoor activity you are enjoying this winter.

Grand Forks Sector shares over 860 miles of International Border with Canada.  Much of which is prime hunting land that thousands of people enjoy every year.  We want to remind everyone who is spending time near the border while engaging in outdoor activities, that if you see something, say something.  If you suspect illegal cross border activity, please call 1-800-982-4077, this is a direct line to our Dispatch Center, they will be able to reach out to the nearest Border Patrol Station and dispatch an agent to your location.  If you have an emergency, please dial 911.

“If you see something, say something is so important,” said Grand Forks Sector Chief Patrol Agent Anthony S. Good.  “The folks who frequently visit the remote border areas for recreation and work know when something is out of place or does not belong.  By making that call, you never know what type of criminal activity you could be preventing.”
