The Geothermal Collegiate Competition is hosting several educational webinars for the public to foster a better understanding of geothermal, communicate the benefits of geothermal technologies, and overcome non-technical barriers to development. Join us today, Dec. 17, 2021, at 1 p.m. ET to learn the basics with GEOPHIRES creator, Dr. Koenraad Beckers, a research engineer with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. This free webinar will provide an overview of GEOPHIRES, model descriptions, and example files. Join the Geothermal Collegiate Competition in the new year on Jan. 6, 2022, at 1 p.m. ET to talk with Bastien Poux from Seequent, the company that created Leapfrog Geothermal. 

This free webinar will cover applications of 3D modeling tools, how they are best used, and how 3D modeling applies to the main phases of a geothermal project. The second half will be devoted to a live demonstration of Leapfrog Geothermal, as well as examples of geothermal reservoir models from projects around the world.
