Located on the beautiful Kitsap Peninsula, Clear Creek Trail is almost 8 miles from Silverdale Waterfront Park on Dyes Inlet north to Trigger Avenue.  It follows Clear Creek as it meanders through riparian areas, wetlands, and remnant forests.  Hard to believe it's in the middle of a highly developed urban area.

Kitsap Great Give

The Clear Creek Task Force's mission is to preserve, protect and restore Clear Creek, a salmon bearing stream.

Since the early 1990s, this mission has been supported by the Kitsap community. Thousands of volunteer hours each year have been essential to

this commitment .

We are also grateful to the thousands of dollars that keep this mission afloat. From Trail maintenance, to educational programs to stream restoration, the Clear Creek Task Force is grateful for all you gave and will give.

Earth Day Work Party!

Earth Day is right around the corner!  Osoberry and flowering red currant are in bloom and that means it's time to plant!

Our favorite way to celebrate? Planting native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers. Removing invasives and replanting with natives is critical for salmon habitat, climate change resilience, water quality and Silverdale.

If you'd like to get outside and dig in the dirt, celebrate the natural beauty of the Clear Creek riparian area by joining us on April 22nd.

Earth Day Stewardship Activities

It’s our favorite time of year! Earth Week is a time to celebrate all that nature does for us — and take action to protect it.

The best way is to plant trees and shrubs which create good salmon habitat.

  • Trees improve air quality by absorbing pollutants through their leaves and bark.

  • Even one tree is home to hundreds of  insects, moss, birds and mammals.

  • Healthy trees protect Clear Creek by absorbing storm water, and reducing soil erosion.

  • Restoration projects benefit our community by providing a healthy, peaceful place to walk.

Friday the 26th from 11a. - 3p.

Thursday the 27th from 12:30 - 4:30p.

RSVP for lunch!

It's a rain or shine event, so dress appropriately.

Come when you can and leave when you must!
