Random Number Generator Selection Process Update

All accepted Short-term Rental Unit pre-applications received during the pre-application period were assigned a unique identification number. On March 29, 2023 at 1 p.m. all of the unique identification numbers were entered into a random number selection program that listed the pre-applications in a random order to determine the order the applications will be considered for a short-term rental license. Important: The inclusion of an pre-application on the list does not guarantee that an applicant will receive a short-term rental license.

The random number generator process was broadcast live, but was available for viewing on:

The results were posted on the Clark County Business License website once the process was concluded.
