Help with High Winter Heating Costs

Compared to a year ago, electricity and natural gas prices are roughly 11% higher and residential heating oil prices are up about 40%. To help low-income Americans cover heating costs, especially in cold-weather states, the Biden administration is distributing an additional $4.5 billion in funds through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
