The Department of Commerce has one overarching goal: To improve America’s economic competitiveness so that our workers and our companies succeed in the global economy. And Black History Month is a great time to showcase the achievements of the Black scientists, educators, creators, activists, and others who have contributed to that goal and continue to propel this nation forward every day.
