Finding Her Way with Whole Health

Picture of Female Veteran

U.S Navy Veteran, Tammy D’Alesandro finds personal meaning and purpose with her Whole Health practice.

Monday, January 23, 2023

“I don’t know where to go, I don’t know what to do, I don’t know what I like,” said U.S. Navy Veteran Tammy D’Alesandro reflecting on the time when she was first out of the service. Through VA’s Whole Health services, D’Alesandro found a new path and is now sharing that discovery with other Veterans.

Her work on the Personal Development area of the Circle of Health has transformed her life. She says these efforts have helped her develop a relationship with herself; and today she loves the person she is. Hear more from Tammy's reflections on her Personal Development in this video.

The central theme of Whole Health is learning what matters to you and there are VA programs and staff who can help you to figure that out. So, whether you are recently separated from service, or you have been out for a while and want to jump start your life goals, Whole Health can offer guidance and tools that can support you.
