Keep Fort Worth Beautiful is hosting its 38th annual Cowtown Great American Cleanup on Saturday, March 25.

Why it’s important: The Cowtown Great American Cleanup is Fort Worth’s largest annual litter cleanup and beautification event. In 2022, Cowtown Cleanup volunteers removed more than 100,000 pounds of trash from the city.

Registration details: Join Keep Fort Worth Beautiful and thousands of volunteers to make Fort Worth a clean and safe city. Schools, churches, businesses and individuals are all welcome to join. Create a team and lead a cleanup in a neighborhood, park or an area that’s special to you; or register to help at a designated hub.

The first 5,000 volunteers to register will receive a free T-shirt and litter cleanup supplies. Sign up today.

Extra incentive: Earth Party returns this year. The celebration is a show of appreciation to volunteers for their hard work and cleanup efforts. After the cleanup, volunteers will be treated to food, drinks, live music and entertainment, animal adoptions, vendor promotions and the popular Trashion Fashion Show.

Be inspired by trash: Show off your creative reuse ideas at the Trashion Fashion Show. Keep Fort Worth Beautiful is always interested in ways to reuse items that would otherwise end up in the landfill; and what better way than on the fashion runway. After all, Miss Thailand was inspired by her “garbage collector parents” and wore a dress made of aluminum pull tabs from drinks cans during the Miss Universe 2022 pageant.
