The NC DPI School Business Division Annual Reports Application provides an electronic view of Year-to-Date (YTD) financial reports. These are the reports that have traditionally been mailed at year-end in response to independent auditor’s confirmation letters. The goal of this application is to expedite the audit process and save resources, both time and money, by eliminating the previous manual process.
CONFIRMATION OF FUNDS EXPENDED AND/OR DISBURSED FROM THE STATE PUBLIC SCHOOL FUND AND FEDERAL PROGRAMS 2022-23:
In response to your request for confirmation of funds expended and/or disbursed for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023, we are providing you with access to the following reports.
The reports reflect expenditures and/or disbursements reported by line item as of June 30, 2023. Please be aware that our final audit of the State Public School Fund and Federal Programs expenditures has not been completed as of this date; therefore, the schedule may reflect amounts for 2022-23, which may be required to be refunded this Fiscal Year 2023.

You also need to be aware that although State Public School Fund Allotments are shown as dollars, many of these are position allotments and the allotted dollars are estimates. Please refer to the official state allotments and the Allotment Policy Manual to determine which allotments these are so that you may audit accordingly.
NOTE:
If you select a year prior to 2022-23, the data in those reports is based on June 30 of that respective year.
