The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science & Technology Directorate’s (S&T) Long Range Broad Agency Announcement (LRBAA) is a standing, open invitation to the scientific and technical communities to fund pioneering research and development (R&D) projects in support of the nation’s security. The LRBAA Today webinar series discusses solutions sought under LRBAA topic areas and the R&D currently being done with S&T.
The LRBAA Today: Adaptive Risk Management Technologies webinar will focus on the research S&T performs in risk sciences, regenerative technologies, and adaptive engineering to mitigate current or emerging hazards and threats by enhancing disaster preparedness and the resilience of the Nation’s communities and infrastructure. Under the Managing Incidents research area, this R&D supports an integrated approach to new and emerging operational challenges, like the increasing frequency and scale of natural disasters and other physical security risks. You’ll learn about the type of solutions S&T is seeking in risk assessment and planning R&D and how to utilize the LRBAA program to partner with DHS.
