Trick-or-Streets
Trick-or-Streets returns for a second season! NYC DOT partners with Open Streets, plazas, and other corridors on Halloween to add pedestrian space during one of the busiest nights of the year.
This year, over 100 events will feature new, car-free Trick-or-Streets programming and giveaways at locations in all five boroughs. NYC DOT and its partners are hosting Halloween-themed activities and performances throughout October. Events are also planned into November to celebrate the Mexican holiday of Día De Los Muertos, or “Day of the Dead.”
NYC coordinates with local partners and other city agencies to make car-free spaces possible. Thanks to the NYC Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO), NYPD, and so many others.
