San Diego County doctors share the top 6 tips to help you fight winter viruses and stay healthy.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends everyone 6 months and older get a flu shot every year. It takes about two weeks for immunity to develop, so get vaccinated early.

The flu vaccine is available at doctors’ offices and pharmacies throughout San Diego County. You can also get vaccinated at one of the County’s six Public Health Centers or a local community clinic.
