Services available:

The Customer Service Center is open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed on county holidays. Individual agencies may occasionally have adjusted hours.

There are drop boxes available during regular business hours outside the main entrance at Second Avenue and Jackson Street to quickly drop off documents or other materials for agencies located in the building. There is also a King County Elections ballot drop box on the corner of Second Avenue and King Street for voters.

From north of downtown Seattle

  1. Take I-5 southbound
  2. Take exit 165A to James Street
  3. Continue on Sixth Avenue to South Jackson Street
  4. Turn right on South Jackson Street
  5. Turn left on Second Avenue South

From south of downtown Seattle

  1. Take I-5 northbound
  2. Take exit 164A, following signs to James Street
  3. Take James Street exit, turn left on James Street
  4. Drive under freeway, turn left on Sixth Avenue
  5. Keep right and continue on Sixth Avenue past Yesler Way to South Jackson Street
  6. Turn right on South Jackson Street
  7. Turn left on Second Avenue South

From westbound I-90

  1. Take I-90 westbound
  2. Take exit 2C right, I-5 northbound
  3. Take exit 165A to James Street, turn left
  4. Drive under freeway, turn left on Sixth Avenue
  5. Continue on Sixth Avenue to South Jackson Street
  6. Turn right on South Jackson Street
  7. Turn left on Second Avenue South

Parking and electric vehicle charging stations

  • Fee-based public parking is available at the King Street Center garage, accessed from the south side of the building off King Street. Valets will be available to park customer vehicles in the garage between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. There is no additional charge for valet service, and tipping is not required.
  • There is a one-hour grace period for Customer Service Center visitors who park in the King Street Center garage. Stays longer than one hour will be charged for the full duration of the stay.
  • King Street Center garage has six electric vehicle charging stations. People who want to park and charge their electric vehicle while using services in the building must tell the valet operator to connect their vehicle while parked in the garage. The maximum charging time at the garage is four hours. When the vehicle has been charged for four hours, the valet operators will disconnect and relocate the vehicle to maximize parking availability in the garage.
  • There are several fee-based parking lots in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. The largest is the Lumen Field lot at Second Avenue South and South King Street.
  • On-street metered parking is available throughout Pioneer Square. At most metered locations a two-hour limit is in effect Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is no fee outside of these hours. Note other parking restrictions on street signage.
  • On game/event days, be prepared for neighborhood traffic congestion, additional parking restrictions, and special pricing in private parking lots. Visitors who want to use the King Street Center garage during weekday events at Lumen Field or T-Mobile Park must approach the garage by heading south on Second Avenue and turning east on King Street. Traffic headed east on King Street from First Avenue will not be permitted access past Second Avenue.
