As a supervisor, you will supervise through subordinate supervisor and leaders and is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of subordinate work activities and functions.
A Wood Crafter Supervisor:
Plans, directs, monitors, keeps record, administers, coordinates and oversees the making and repairing of high grade wooden items such as, cabinetry, furniture, orthopedic devices, and decorative woodwork. Constructs, installs, repairs, and modifies of other woods and wood products and wide variety of structural items such as walls, staircases, doors and window frames, interior and exterior trim, and miscellaneous items such as workbenches, counter tops, bookcases, equipment cabinets, and computer consoles.
Supervises through subordinate supervisors and leaders and is primarily responsible for the overall direction and coordination of subordinate work activities and functions.
Reports to the CSC Director, Deputy Director, the White House Office of Administration and other Federal agencies within the White House Complex for assigned actives, including meeting of quality standards and time deadlines. Work assignments are in the form of general written and oral instructions. Guidance for completion of assignments includes work orders, sketches, specifications, blueprints, wiring diagrams, organization policies and accepted trade techniques.

The WG salary range starts at $33.82 per hour.
