COVID-19 Safety Check FAQs
Posted on Mar 27, 2020 inThe following is a Frequently-Asked-Questions (FAQs) discussion on the State of Hawaii’s COVID-19 emergency procedures as it relates to the Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspection, (i.e., Safety Check) program for non-commercial motor vehicles and motor carrier commercial motor vehicles. As of January 1, 2021, there are no longer any extensions to an expired safety inspection certificate and sticker under the Governor’s Emergency Proclamation. Safety inspection stations have been open since May 15, 2020.
