Government Contracting

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is the new certification standard that all government contractors doing business with the Department of Defense (DoD) will adhere to. Simply put, contractors who do not achieve compliance with this government-mandated, third-party audit-enforced program will not be able to do work with the DoD.

As stated in Version 1.0 of the CMMC, “a maturity model is a set of characteristics, attributes, indicators, or patterns that represent capability and progression in a particular discipline.” In this context, the CMMC requires organizations to implement processes and practices in 17 domains (also sometimes referred to as control families). Subject Matter Expert Jamie Miller, founder and CEO of Mission Multiplier, will offer real strategies and corresponding tactical actions for how your organization can achieve compliance with this game-changing standard.

The Catalyst has obtained Subject Matter Experts (SME) to share their knowledge during two-hour classes as part of our Government Contracting Credentials (GCC) series which is a series of classes for Government Contractors and their employees. The GCC series has credential badges as described below.

Level 1 –Company Representatives/Individuals must attend 6 workshops for the business to obtain Government Contracting Credential Level 1 Badge for their website; Individuals can also receive Government Contracting Credential Certificate of Completion. (*Government Contracting, and Capabilities Statements, or Contacts to Contracts are mandatory).

Level 2 – Company Representatives/Individuals must attend 12 (Obtain Level I Credential plus attend 6 additional workshops) for the business to obtain Government Contracting Credential Level 2 Badge for their website; Individuals can also receive Government Contracting Credential Certificate of Completion for Level 2.

The business must send one employee representative to the number of workshops needed to obtain GCC Level 1 or Level 2 Badge. Individuals can attend any workshops they choose.
