About this event

Join us to meet other small businesses and sole traders working in fashion, accessories and textiles. Hear from a guest speaker and build your local network.

The sessions are:

  • Session One: From SM to cart - digital and social marketing: Tuesday 20 October, 10.30am - 12.15pm
  • Session Two: Selling and the new soft sell approach in fashion marketing: Friday 6 November, 10.30am - 12.15pm

The sessions are offered by South East Creatives and facilitated by Mo Tomaney, Director of Wise Birds Network Ltd.

Session One: From SM to cart - digital and social marketing

Tuesday 20 October, 10.30am - 12.15pm over Zoom

In this session, Elisa Fogli will share her experience supporting clients to reach wider target audience through paid ad campaigns and ecommerce platform development - securing more leads and converting them into loyal customers.

Participants will be invited to discuss strategies, approaches and tools to create interactions and collaborations, from social to cart.

About Elisa

Elisa specialises in digital and social media marketing, ecommerce and campaign strategies, focusing in the fashion, beauty and luxury sectors. She has worked with established and fledgling brands, helping them to leverage digital channels targeting business visibility and brand awareness.

Session Two: Selling and the new soft sell approach in fashion marketing – what’s the difference?

Friday 6 November, 10.30am - 12.15pm over Zoom

Jo Beardsworth will share her insights into new approaches to marketing and sales, considering the “soft sell” approach to marketing and structuring a fashion product offer for a direct and blended sales strategies.

About Jo

Jo is a fashion branding expert, a former buying agent with over 30 years in the business. She successfully launched and developed many international brands, working with global retailers, manufacturers and distributors.

She now coaches fashion teams and entrepreneurs, with an impressive clients portfolio that include Stella McCartney, Dinny Hall and LVMH.

  • You can sign up for one or both sessions.
  • Your business needs to have passed South East Creatives' eligibility process.
  • Priority for places will be given to those who have not yet received 12 hours of training support or a grant from South East Creatives.
  • Only one place per business.
