Transportation Salary Scales
I move that effective Oct 9, 2021 the Superintendent be directed to:

- Increase the Transportation Salary Scales 2.5% across all lanes and steps excluding those whose salaries increased based on previous direction to increase starting pay to $22.91 per hour at an estimated cost of $1.5 million; and
- Reduce the fuel contingency reserve by $1.5 million. (Corbett Sanders/Tholen)

I move to amend the main motion to add:
“and to direct the superintendent to examine salary scales to recognize years of service for existing employees steps 1-5 as a result of this change, and to return to the board with a plan to include the necessary modifications, after consultation with key stakeholders, as a part of the market scale study findings scheduled for presentation in December.” (Omeish/Cohen)
