To access the online resources, click on a link below. When entering your borrower barcode, type in all of the characters including the 'LMP' but do not include any space. Letters should be typed in upper case.

Encyclopaedia Britannica - A complete and interactive online resource which appeals to all ages.

E-books - A collection of fantastic books for both adults and children to download onto a smartphone, tablet, computer or e-reader. All available from the comfort of your own home.  

E-Audio books - A collection of fantastic audio books for both adults and children, to download onto your computer, MP3 player, smartphone, e-reader or tablet. Available from the comfort of your own home.  

This service is not available through the Libraries People's Network system.

E-magazines - A collection of popular magazines to download onto your computer, tablet, e-reader or smartphone. Available from the comfort of your own home.  

E-Comics - A collection of comics (graphic novels) to download onto your computer, tablet, e-reader or smartphone. Available from the comfort of your own home.  

Kanopy - Film Streaming - On-demand film streaming service. Get access to thousands of independent films and documentaries for free. It has hundreds of education videos from The Great Courses.

Cobra - Cobra is an online resource that provides comprehensive and frequent updates specifically for business start-ups and also for those who own a small business. It includes business factsheets, concise legal information, and covers a wide range of subjects such as writing a business or marketing plan, applying for business loans, and staging exhibitions.

Universal Skills - An online subscription service to help users learn basic IT skills, access support through the Universal Job Match and Universal Credit process, and learn job skills including CV creation.

Newsbank - NewsBank is a news resource that provides a newspaper archive of media publications as reference materials to libraries. (UK only)

PressReader - An online subscription that provides instant online access to current and back issue newspapers and magazines from various countries, in full-colour, full-page format and in over 60 languages. 

Issues Online - Issues online is predominantly aimed at students wishing to gain a better understanding of the world around them and the issues which affect their lives, but useful to anyone researching social issues.

Oxford Dictionaries Premium with Languages (ODALL) - A range of language resources for English, Arabic, Chinese, French,  Spanish, German,  Italian, Portuguese and Russian.

Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (ODNB) - A collection of biographies of the people who have shaped Britain's past and present.

Oxford English Dictionary (OED) - Respected as an authority on spelling, origin, definition, and meaning of words in the English language, with illustrative references and over 500,000 entries.

Oxford Art (GDA) - This resource provides you with global art and architecture from pre-history to present day. You need not worry about its reliability as it is updated regularly, and also contains peer-reviewed articles from almost 7,000 scholars, globally. Extra information is also provided through pictures, bibliographies and links to additional resources.

Oxford Music (GDM) -  Grove Music Online is based on the first work published in 1879 and frequently updated with hundreds of new articles and article revision annually. It covers the history and cultures of music all over the world.

Oxford Reference (OROPREMIUM) - Oxford Reference is the leading online reference resource for 25 different areas, bringing together over a million digitized records across Oxford University Press' dictionaries, companions and encyclopaedias.

Oxford Research Encyclopedias (ORE) - The Oxford Research Encyclopedias (OREs) offer long-form overview articles written, peer-reviewed, and edited by leading scholars.

New Oxford Shakespeare (SENOS) - This resource offers all of Shakespeare's works drawing on the latest textual and theatrical scholarship. This contains a fresh, authoritative Complete Works with modern spelling and punctuation, explanatory notes and performance notes on every page as well as text presented with original spelling, punctuation, ambiguities, and inconsistencies.

Very Short Introductions (VSIALL) - Discover a new topic or subject with these intelligent and serious introductions written by authors who are experts in their field. 

Who's Who and Who Was Who (WWHOBOTH) - Who's Who is a source of biographical data on more than 33,000 influential people from around the world. Published annually since 1849, it lists people who influence British life, according to its editors.

Times Digital Archive - A fully searchable database of the Times newspaper articles from 1785 to 1985. Search for subjects of interest or memorable events that happened before or after you were born.

Theory Test Pro - Practice your driving theory test, including the hazard perception test and the highway code.

Transparent Language Online - With over 110 languages to choose from, including English, you can learn at home, in the library, or on the go. Reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities will help you learn the words and phrases needed to communicate effectively. It also includes KidSpeak™ a fun, age-appropriate online language course designed for children ages 6 and up that includes more than 40 activities, puzzles, and songs to guide young learners through the basics. 

Go Citizen - An online study resource for candidates preparing for the Life in the UK test or the British Citizenship test.
