By registering for this event, you agree that any physical activities involve some element of personal risk and that, accordingly, in consideration for the registrant waiving his/her claim against Evanston Fourth of July Association, and their agents; the registrant will be allowed to participate in any of the above activities. By engaging in this activity, the registrant acknowledges that he/she assumes the element of inherent risk and, in consideration for being allowed to engage in the activity, agrees to indemnify and hold Evanston Fourth of July Association and their agents; harmless from any liability for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death caused by participation in this activity. Packet pickup begins at noon at Ackerman Park on July 4th. Participants receive a t-shirt and bib number. After race refreshments include water, bananas and cereal bars. Get your picture taken with mascots like Sparky and Willie Wildcat. The Fun Run starts at 12:45pm. Sponsors are Evanston Running Club, Flying Turkey 5K Race and NU Athletics. Water and bananas donated by Trader Joe's. Proceeds benefit Evanston Fourth of July Association, a non-profit organization.
