(1) you have no comments because there are 100 steps to get to this point (2) based upon lived experience, the support the VA offers families of service members with PTSD is like a thimble of water for a 1000 acre brush fire. All the while the VA is pouring gasoline on that fire with rhetoric of it is the service members choice to get treatment. My husband is 100% disabled due to PTSD and being held hostage to his numbing and hiding while others drain our bank accounts. This is 5 years now. I receive nothing and my identity has been stolen by the maligners he has fallen captive to. He is so numb and lives in a bizarre world of numbness claiming he cares about nothing when clearly he cares about everything so much he can't speak of it. I begged you to help him and you repeatedly told me it was "his choice," mean while maligners told him he isn't ill and I am trying to get him locked up so I can steal all his money. They kindly have offered and succeeded in keeping his money safe from us. Thank you VA for allowing my husband to die with his rights on with zero dignity as he is ashamed of the husband and father he no longer is. Check yourself and just tell spouses they are on their own. We are at the whim of a mental illness caused by the service of our loved one.
