The Alameda County Board of Supervisors invites you to an educational seminar on civilian oversight of law enforcement.
With the passage of Assembly Bill 1185 (County Board of Supervisors, Sheriff Oversight), Alameda County is in a unique position to determine if a Sheriff’s Oversight Board is in the best interest of our community. To ensure the public is fully informed and in advance of our second round of community engagement meetings, you are invited to an educational seminar with Ms. Cameron McEllhiney, national expert on the topic of civilian oversight. The live presentation will include a question and answer session for the public.
