About the commission

The nine-member Board of Commissioners oversees the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. They represent eight geographic areas, with one additional at-large seat. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is the arm of the Nebraska state government charged with managing the state’s fish, wildlife, park and outdoor recreation resources in the best long-term interests of the people and those resources. The Board of Commissioners is require to meet a minimum of four times a year.
