This project involves widening Boggy Creek Road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, stretching from Simpson Road to Narcoossee Road, covering a distance of approximately 5.9 miles. The study and final design plans can be viewed from the Documents section of this page.

This project includes

  • Accommodations for different modes of transportation, based on the Project Development & Environment (PD&E) study findings
  • Improvements to drainage systems and storm water ponds
  • Modifications to signalized intersections at Nele Road, Turnberry Boulevard, and CR 15 (Narcoossee Road)
  • Upgrades to the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
  • Modification / replacement of the triple box culvert over Jim Branch Creek
  • Street lighting
