The Missouri Broadband Map is a powerful tool provided by the Missouri Broadband Office that allows residents, government representatives, internet service providers, and others to visualize and understand broadband coverage across the state.
Our map provides a representation of broadband availability for each home, business, and other serviceable locations in Missouri. It classifies locations into three categories:
Served: Addresses with broadband service that meets or exceeds 100 Mbps download speed and 20 Mbps upload speed.
Underserved: Addresses with broadband service below 100 Mbps download speed and 20 Mbps upload speed but higher than 25 Mbps download speed and 3 Mbps upload speed.
Unserved: Addresses with broadband service below 25 Mbps download speed and 3 Mbps upload speed.
Our map also provides representation of funding eligibility following the bead challenge process. It classifies locations into two categories:
Eligible: Addresses that are eligible for BEAD funding since they are unserved or underserved.
Ineligible: Addresses that are ineligible for BEAD funding since they are already served, have funding, or have planned service.
When you first arrive at the map, you will see a series of donut pie chart clusters of broadband serviceable locations. These donut chart clusters provide a broad visual of Served, Underserved, and Unserved locations. As you zoom in, you will see the individual broadband serviceable locations appear at the street level.
You can toggle between the eligibility and serviceability to see the map with the different representations.
Please explore various themes, compare percentages of served locations, and analyze data related to different geographic boundaries. The map also features a funding layer that visualizes federal and state funding committed for broadband improvements in Missouri.
