Thank you for taking the first step to help the most vulnerable animals in Pima County. Fostering is a great way to help your community and be a part of PACC's lifesaving organization. We are one of the largest municipal shelters in the country, and have been able to maintain a live release rate over 90% because of caring people like you!
Fostering can be as short as 2 weeks to allow the animals to decompress from shelter life, and as long as a few months until the animal finds its forever home! We also offer short-term fostering such as doggie daytrips and foster-sitters for those who can't commit to 2 weeks.
Pima Animal Care Center covers all medical expenses
and will provide any other supplies that we have at our disposal to you.
Sign up below to learn more about joining our growing team of amazing fosters. Walk-ins are also always welcome! You can come on down to PACC anytime during our open hours (M-F 12-6:30; W 1:30-6:30; Sa-Sun 10-4:30 at 4000 N Silverbell Rd) and pick up a new friend!
