| Purpose | Awards grant funding to help develop internship programs for high school students and youth (between the ages of 14 and 24) that allow them to explore and prepare for high-demand careers, gain work experience, and develop personal attributes that help them succeed in the workplace. |

2025 Summer Youth Internship Program Grant Awards
Governor Kim Reynolds today announced new grant awards that will help expand the number of Iowa’s youth participating in internships this summer. A total of five employers are being awarded $254,000 in grants to help support over 100 youth participating in summer internships in high-demand areas of the workforce.
