To celebrate the 147th Kentucky Derby, Governor Andy Beshear and First Lady Britainy Beshear selected Lexington artist Lennon Michalski to design the 2021 Governor’s Celebration Derby Poster. The poster portrays the commonwealth’s long-standing history and love of horseracing. Michalski’s inspiration for the poster came from a time when he once attended the races with his young son.
