Xochitl-Quetzal te invita a una actuación dinámica y vibrante en honor a la herencia de la tradición de La Danza De Los Concheros. ¡Explore el mundo azteca de ceremonias y rituales indígenas en la Escuela de Estudios Globales Dr Bessie Rhodes, patrocinada por la Biblioteca Pública de Evanston.
Abierto a todos, EVENTO GRATUITO, la actuación se llevará a cabo afuera, cerca del patio de recreo de WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Habrá señales de orientación. Se requieren máscaras, ya que es un evento en persona.

We invite you to a special presentation on the history of the Danza De Los Concheros. Join us for a presentation on the heritage and culture of the Indigenous tradition of Flor y Canto of ancient Mexico. Xochitl-Quetzal means “precious flower” in the Nahuatl Aztec language.

Xochitl-Quetzal invites you to a dynamic and vibrant performance honoring the heritage of the tradition of La Danza De Los Concheros. Join us and explore the Aztec world of indigenous ceremony and ritual at Dr Bessie Rhodes School of Global Studies, sponsored by the Evanston Public Library!
Free to attend, the performance will take place in the playground of WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. There will be guiding signs. Masks required as it is an in-person event.
