On January 7, 2021, the Board will consider for a possible vote and adoption the proposed amendments to Chapter [100] [400]. Maine law provides for limited additional public comment at that meeting. In accordance with 38 M.R.S. § 341-H(3-A), the Board will accept and consider additional public comments on the proposed rule that are (1) directly related to comments that were received during the rulemaking comment period or (2) that are in response to changes proposed by the Department following the close of the formal rulemaking comment period.
Persons who wish to provide additional public comment at the January 7, 2021, Board meeting are encouraged, prior to the start of the meeting, to notify the Board Clerk at ruth.a.burke@maine.gov of their desire to provide such comment. The Board Chair may limit the amount of time each person is provided for comment to ensure all who wish to comment may do so at the meeting.
