Commission for Women meetings take place the second Thursdays of every month at 7:00pm.

We have moved to a hybrid schedule. The following meetings are in person:

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, members of the Montgomery County Council introduced the Uplifting Victims and Immigrant Safety Act (U Visa.) This bill strengthens the county’s commitment to protecting victims of crimes and the witnesses who help law enforcement solve violent crimes.
The U Visa and the County’s process is available online. Questions about the process may be sent to: POL.Uvisa@montgomerycountymd.gov.

We provide residents with free or low-cost seminars on a variety of topics.  The Commission generally offers seminars on the following topics:

  2. Financial Health and Wellness
  3. Career Series (will return Spring 2025)
  4. Self-Defense Classes (on hiatus)
