Please join the Region 2 National Preparedness Division Cal OES and the National CERT Association Presents LISTOS - Preparedness Training for Families and Individuals.
Aware and Prepare LISTOS is an 8-hour training program that was originally created to engage the Hispanic community in emergency and disaster preparedness. Unlike CERT, LISTOS training is conversational based and is focused on families and individuals.

LISTOS was created in Santa Barbara County, California, in 2009 as part of the Aware and Prepare program. Since then, LISTOS has received two grants from the California Office of Emergency Services and a grant from the California Governor’s office to expand LISTOS throughout the state. LISTOS now has over 60 programs statewide and the curriculum has been translated into 13 languages. Visit www.CFALISTOS.org for more information.

Join us on Tuesday, May 24th to learn more about this program, how it has proven effective in preparing non-English speaking communities, and how you can start a LISTOS program in your area.

Who Should Attend? Whole community partners, particularly CERT Program Managers and Instructors who are interested in an effective tool to prepared community members

FEMA works to ensure equitable access for all to any services and programs that are provided by the agency. If you need a reasonable accommodation, please make your request in an email to fema-r2-prepares@fema.dhs.gov. Last minute requests will be accepted, but may not be possible to fulfill.
