The Visit Every Park Guide contains a checklist of every park that is sure to inspire your park exploration journey.

How to participate:

1. Register (Not required, but encouraged. It helps us keep track of how many people are participating!)

2. Visit parks!

There is no deadline or timeframe! This challenge is ongoing and park visits can be done over several years and at your own pace. The specific prizes may very from year to year and are subject to availability. The 2024 prize plan features several Bicentennial Celebration items that will only be available this year. Of course, the real prize— the adventure— never runs out!

Special note for VEP Champions - When you complete the challenge, please reach out to [email protected] and let us know! We'll send you the champion form, ask for some pics, and coordinate your grand prize pick up. There is no formal visitation proof required but we do ask to see the checklist for champions as the ticket to the Wall of Champions.

GIVE 365 is here to help you track your journey and celebrate your milestones. Fill out our VEP Registration Form so we can go along this journey with you! To pick up a VEP guide with map contact GIVE 365 at 734.794.6445 or email us at [email protected] and we will mail you a guide. In our list and for our challenge, we define a park property as land that is owned and/or maintained by your parks department. People may not know that the Ann Arbor Farmers Market and the golf courses are part of the parks department but they are maintained and managed by parks staff.  Regardless of how you define a park, we encourage you to get out and see all that the Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation department offers to inspire community, recreation and environmental stewardship through our diverse collection of park properties.

For a list of the park properties and their websites, visit Parks & Places or explore the www.a2gov.org/parkfinder tool. The University of Michigan and Washtenaw County parks add to the park opportunities available here in 'Tree Town'!
