What type of loans are forgiven federal only? Also does it only forgive remaining balance?
Ann Deinhardt

In the Methodology and Approach section, it asks for details about the procedures for the program. Are these procedures, and things like the structure of the contracts with faculty, going to be guided by federal regulations? Are those regulations available? An example would be the question under Resolution of Challenges about how early departures will be handled. Are there regulations about how that should be handled?

To clarify : If a University has an agreed federal award indirect F&A rate of, say, 50%, should this be incorporated into the budget or is the the institutional F&A rate replaced by a blanket 8% of modified total direct costs for all institutions for this particular funding mechanism?
JGazdik
01:12:23
please refer to page 16 regarding indirect costs
JGazdik

For Dental Hygiene Programs some are not large in number as far as faculty. If the faculty within the program get together to work on a grant many would be excluded that this grant could benefit…..is there a solution to this? I hope this makes sense….In addition some DH programs are within a Dental School and some are free standing…if you are within a school, you have to check if you can get a different UEI or DUNS number did I hear this correctly?
Brian Shumway
01:52:14
If you bring in a new faculty member say in year 3 of the grant, do they only get 2 years of funding (at the end of 5 yrs) or do they continue for 5 more years to have repayment? So if I get the award starting in 2023, could I have a person that starts in 2028 and then gets funds until 2033?
Brian Shumway
01:57:38
