Save the date for a job in adult social care

Jobs fair

Social care providers from the council and independent sectors are coming together to seek out the most caring, patient and fun-loving people to join the social care workforce. Whatever your background or experience – whether you’ve worked in adult social care before, just starting out or you’re interested in a change of direction, they want to meet you!

Jobs fairs

The jobs fairs are organised and delivered by the Kirklees Care Association and In2Care.

The jobs fairs are being held in Huddersfield and Dewsbury:

  • Thursday 27 April at Huddersfield Town Hall, 10am – 3pm
  • Wednesday 31 May at Dewsbury Town Hall, 10am – 3pm

Full and part time jobs

You will be able to explore roles in supported living, residential and domiciliary care as well as community specialist care where you could be supporting people with different mental, learning or physical disabilities.  Staff already doing these roles will be at each event to share their experiences about working in social care.

With full, part time and casual hours available and details of training opportunities and clear paths to career progression, there is something to suit most people.

Help with applications, and interviews on the day

There will also be support from the In2Care Kirklees team and Employment and Skills. The teams will be around on the day to guide you through the application procedure and provide support and advice for the interview process. In some cases, interviews will be held on the day, and you could walk away with a new job.

No need to book

Feel free to drop by to either event (or both!) from 10am – 3pm.

There’s no need to book and it’s completely free.

Get a job in adult social care and make a positive difference in your community.
