Board Member Proposed Follow On Motions:

1I move to direct the superintendent to develop an annual School Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Assessment Program that addresses school traffic and pedestrian safety concerns resulting from severely congested kiss and ride lines, bus traffic, and other issues. This annual program would mirror the Capital Improvement Program’s (CIP) method for addressing capacity deficits with a menu of potential mitigation strategies, an equitable queue of schools with the most pressing needs, implementation timelines, and an update on pending, current, and recently completed remediation projects. (Frisch/Pekarsky)

2.  I move to direct the superintendent to develop a plan to update the Ed Specs for renovations and new construction projects to include food preparation facilities that are most capable of delivering fresh and diverse food options. (Meren/Anderson)

3.  I move to direct the Superintendent to bring a plan for a performing arts warehouse to be used to catalog and share sets, props, costumes, equipment, instruments, and other related items. (Derenak Kaufax/Sizemore Heizer).
