Fort Worth fire and police chiefs will be responding to a different kind of call in the community this spring: Story Time with the Chiefs.

In March, Fire Chief Jim Davis and Fire Police Chief Neil Noakes are heading to the Fort Worth Public Library to lead little readers in special story time sessions.

  • Bring your kids to participating library locations in March for an opportunity to interact and get familiar with their first responders in a calm, relaxed setting.
  • The chiefs will read stories on the value of being good neighbors and how we can work together in our community.
  • There will also be fun crafts, activities and giveaways for children.
  • Go deeper: Find a Story Time with the Chief.

Don’t forget: Attending story times also count as minutes earned for the Library’s Spring Reading Challenge. All ages are encouraged to participate. Sign up the whole family today to start logging minutes, taking challenges and earning badges.

As the literary hub of Fort Worth, your Fort Worth Public Library empowers lifelong learning and encourages reading for pleasure.
