The Swinomish Indian Tribal Community is currently using private funds combined with HUD’s Section 184 Indian Home Loan Guarantee Program to develop 16 homeownership units for tribal members. They also plan to develop elder cottages and townhomes with State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) from Treasury as part of the funding stack.
