Daily and Cumulative Vaccination Estimates Countywide
- Vaccination data are analyzed from the California Immunization Registry (CAIR) for the age group selection of LA County residents. Due to ongoing updates to vaccine recipient addresses, the vaccination estimates for cities/communities can fluctuate. In addition, the number of vaccinations reported in recent days may be incomplete.
- Individuals whose addresses are not valid and who could not be mapped to a city or community are not included in the map or the data download.
- The charts of "New Vaccinations By" and "Cumulative Vaccinations" include residents without valid addresses.
- The chart of "Cumulative Vaccinations" presents the count of persons vaccinated with at least one dose of updated 23-24 vaccine if "Received 1+ updated 23-24 dose" is selected. The chart of "Cumulative Vaccinations" presents the count of persons having received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines according to CDC guidelines based on their age and previous vaccination record, as defined here, if “Up to Date” is selected.
- Charts display the following: When the button, "Received 1+ updated 23-24 dose," is selected, the count of persons vaccinated with at least one dose of updated 23-24 vaccine is displayed with the date corresponding to the first administered dose. When the button, “Up to date” is selected, the count of persons vaccinated with all recommended COVID-19 vaccines according to CDC guidelines based on their age and previous vaccination record is displayed with the date corresponding to the date on which they reached "up to date" status. The purpose of these census tract maps and charts is to provide communities vaccination coverage information at a smaller geographic level. These data visualizations can be used to tailor vaccination outreach efforts led by community officials or other agencies serving the community. The slider will display the weekly vaccination rate needed to reach this target. - To view community projections, select a community from the map or dropdown menu above, and select an age range using the buttons above.
- To view past countywide projections, toggle View Past Projections.
Projections extend the current pace of vaccinations ( vaccinations/week as of ).
With vaccination rates dropping, these projections likely overestimate the rate of vaccination progress.

City/Community Vaccination Coverage by Age Group and Race/Ethnicity
The purpose of these PDF files is to provide communities with vaccination coverage information for subsets of their population (specific race/ethnicity and age groups).
These data can be used to tailor vaccination outreach efforts led by community officials or other agencies serving the community.

Estimated Progress by Race/Ethnicity
These projections likely overestimate the rate of vaccination progress for each group.
When comparing age groups, note that vaccination rates typically slow a few weeks after the group becomes eligible. Consequently, younger groups (more recently eligible), are expected to have significantly lower vaccination
rates than shown.

- Data are presented for LA County residents for whom both age and race/ethnicity data are available from the California Immunization Registry (CAIR).
- Dashed lines are linear trends projected into the future, based on the vaccination rate from the last week of daily data. Daily data are presented for accurate inclusion of eligibility dates for each age group.
- Cumulative totals are given for the number of people vaccinated divided by the relevant population. For "Received 1+ updated 23-24 dose," this refers to people with at least one updated 23-24 dose. - Unlike the 'Vaccinations By Race/Ethnicity' table at the bottom of the page, unreliable ages (i.e. less than 6 months of age) are not included in this table since the exact age group of these individuals is uncertain.
- American Indian/Alaska Native (AIAN) values may be overestimated due to the inclusion of some Multi-race individuals. Population data are likely underestimated due to primarily consisting of those who identify as AIAN only.
