Rates: There are two types of rates. NC SHAPE Members ($275) and General Attendees ($325). Both set of rates come with a FREE Lunch being provided on Thursday and Friday! Please note that these rates increase as the event draws closer.

Special State & National TOY Presenters
Each year, the National Physical Education Institute has been able to attract "The Best of the Best" in terms of Talented Presenters. This year is no different. Presenters this year include folks like:
• Cassie Brooks (@Brooks01CL) is the former President of
Indiana SHAPE, State & Midwest District Health TOY and a
mother of two active boys!
• Derrick Biehl (@MrBiehlsPE) is an elementary physical
education teacher, the recipient of the Illinois AHPERD Young
Professional of the Year and a true #PEGeek!
• Kyle Bragg (@ElemPE1) is the 2021 National Elementary PE
TOY, lives in Scottsdale Arizona and is well-known for his
innovative student-centered teaching style!
• #MyOldKentuckyHomies with members Robin Walker, Daniel
Hill, Candace Young, Chad Sweeney, LaDonda Porter and Linda Rucker!
• Charlie Rizzuto (@RizzutoEd) is the 2022 National High School
PE TOY, NYS Health Education President, adjunct professor
and daddy!
• Sarah Gietschier-Hartman (@GHSaysRockChalk) is the 2018
National Middle School PE TOY, a member of the famed
PHYSEDagogy group and hails from Missouri!
• Betsey Caldwell (@MA_PETeacher) is the former President
of SHAPE Vermont, a social media maven and the 2024 PE
Institute “Kevin Bacon” Connector to Everyone!
• Megaera Regan (@MegaeraR) is the 2022 New York AHPERD
“Joy of Effort” awardee, a former Eastern District Elementary
PE TOY and was a featured guest on NPR.
• Victor Spadaro (@JrV4Victory) is an elementary physical
education teacher in Virginia, the creator of an awesome
YouTube Dance channel and just celebrated his 30th
birthday! AND MANY, MANY MORE!

Once this location has reached capacity, the Double Tree Hotel adjacent to the Embassy Suites (directly across the street) will be used. 7:30 AM: Leave to UNC-Asheville.
7:45 - 8:30 AM: PE Institute Registration at Sherrill Center/Kimmel Arena (UNC-Asheville).
8:30 AM - 4:00 PM: Day One at the National PE Institute.
5:00 - 6:30 PM: PE Institute and Manager’s Reception at Embassy Suites.
6:30 - On: Free Night on your own.
FRIDAY, JULY 26TH
