| Have you ever wanted to learn to fish with a spinning rod and reel? Maybe you want to enhance your fishing skills? We have the lesson just for you! In this class, we will be casting spinning rods and reels at plastic fish known as backyard bass! After we get comfortable, we may try fishing with lures! This class is introductory, so we welcome all who are interested! PLEASE NOTE: This is a fishing event in the winter weather. Please come prepared with winter clothing! Closed toed shoes are required and gloves are recommended! |

Location Information Originally established in 1879, the Forest Park Hatchery was the first fish culture activity in Missouri. Today this fish hatchery is no longer operated for fish farming but rather for educational programming. |
